Content of ingredients in the recommended daily portion:

α-linolenic acid, as the main component of flax oil is a precursor and a source of fatty acids OMEGA-3 that the human body cannot produce. α-linolenic acid undergoes metabolism in the body extending the carbon chain and adding subsequent unsaturated bonds, resulting in eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).
One of the most important functions of α-linolenic acid in the human body is to maintain normal cholesterol levels in the blood. A beneficial effect occurs when 2 g α-linolenic acid is consumed daily.

Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that, like omega-3, supports the health of cell membranes having an impact on their fluidity and functioning, and additionally increases the quality and nutritional value of the product. In addition, it participates in the activity of enzymes responsible for transmitting signals within cells, regulates the activity of immune system cells and helps to protect against oxidative stress.
