Bee pollen
Bee pollen has a very pleasant taste. It can be consumed directly from a jar, but it is considerably better digestibility when dissolved in summer water, followed by withdrawal and drink after a few (maximum 4) hours. If you don't like its taste, you can add honey to it.
Consumption, is preferred 1 teaspoon of pollen (5-6 g) 2 times a day before eating.
Adults may increase the dose to 40 g of pollen per day.
It is worth repeating it during the winter and autumn season.

Collecting pollen is an extremely interesting process. It sticks to the hairs of bees. It is then transferred to the hive from where it can be downloaded by a beekeeper. Its appearance, shape and colour may vary depending on what kind of plants it has been extracted from. It can be yellow, orange, red and even black. Bees receive pollen as a reward for helping pollinate flowers. It is one of the elements of their diet – it is a source of protein for them.
Composition of natural pollen
Flower pollen is the source of:
- carbohydrates,
- endo- and exogenous amino acids,
- proteins,
- fats
- vitamins – including A, B1, B2, B6, E, C, D, PP, B12.
In addition, it is a source of essential enzymes, folic acid, phosphorus, sodium, copper, magnesium, sulphur, selenium, zinc, iron and calcium.
Contraindications
Before taking make sure that you are not allergic to bee products.
Special care should also be taken if you are allergic to pollen from trees and other plants.
Pollen is not indicated for pregnant or breast-feeding women.
Storage:
The pollen should be kept in closed containers at room temperature, protecting against light, moisture and foreign odours. Out of reach of little children.
