Chlorophyll is a natural dye found in green parts of plants. It absorbs light by initiating the process of photosynthesis. It also protects plants from the negative effects of UV radiation.
Sodium-copper chlorophylline comes from lucerne. Aboveground lucerne parts are rich in beta carotene, vitamins B, C, D, E, P and K and mineral salts such as potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, silicon and phosphorus.
